5 WEEK COURSE ON TUESDAY MORNINGS AT THE GREATER WIGSTON HERITAGE CENTRE
STARTING ON 4 JANUARY 2022
From 10.30am to 1.00pm
The course is run by two expert genealogists with many years experience in local, national and international research.
If you have started your research and are stuck, starting from scratch again with the latest resources can help.
The course will be limited to 10 attendees only.
- THE COURSE WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO START FROM THE VERY BEGINNING AND WILL COVER:
- STARTING YOUR JOURNEY & PLANNING YOUR RESEARCH
- CIVIL REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS MARRIAGES AND DEATHS FROM 1837
- CENSUS RETURNS -1841 TO 1911
- (IN 2022 THE 1921 CENSUS WILL BE RELEASED)
- MILITARY RESEARCH
- PARISH REGISTERS
- GENEALOGY WEBSITES - INCLUDING SOME FREE ONES
- WITH HANDS ON USING OUR COMPUTERS
- These are just the main points of each section of the course, each will include many hints and tips to make the most of your research. Notes and printed charts will be supplied for you to log your findings as we go through the course.
THE COURSE FEE WILL BE £20 PER PERSON FOR THE FULL 5 WEEKS
