NEW PREMISES FOUND FOR THE HERITAGE CENTRE
As you are probably aware the Wigston Academy informed us in August that the building that houses our Heritage Centre is to be demolished so we would have to find alternative accommodation.
After over 4 months of searching and trying every suggested alternative premises, like the Cavalry coming to our rescue, we recently were approached be a South Wigston business who have space to accommodate us.
The premises is the Fenix Pharmacy on the corner of Canal Street and Blaby Road, SHOWN BELOW. There have a large area of unused space for our displays, and a lockable newly decorated room to house our computers and "Railway Corner". Internet access will be supplied to the room. We will also be allowed to use the very large side window for advertising.
We shall start to move there during January, and reopen the new Centre during February
